Sulaiman Wali was the son of Shaikh Sadak Nainar Wali. He was born on 1000 A.H. His grand father name Khan Kuttiyar Ibn Shaikh Abdul Qadir. His lineage traces its root to Abubackar Siddiq Raliyullah. His classmates were Hafil Ameer Wali and Mogudoom Sinnina Lebbai Alim Wali of Adirampattinam. He got Bait and Khilafath from Shaikh Ahamed Jamaluddin of Baghdad. Baiath was given to him at Periya Jumma Palli along with Abubackar Wali of ThirumangalaKudi and Muhammad Shah Wali of KottaiPattinam. He got married fathima, the daughter of Imam of a mosque at Yemanaswaram. He had five sons namely, Shamsuddeen Wali, Ahmad Wali, Sadakathulla Wali, Sham Shihabuddeen Wali and Salahuddin Wali and also a daughter. AS he had great respect for his master and guide Periya Shamsuddeen Wali, he named his eldest son as Shamsuddeen and youngest son as Salahuddin in memory of his master’s father Salahuddin Waliyullah. Sulaiman Wali was a Khilafa of Qadiriya Tariqah in Tamilnadu. He performed many miracles. He often visited Mecca by his special powers. He was Qutb of his period. He expired on 1079 A.H. His shrine is at Maraikar Palli Campus.
